Trade Show Policies

  • Children - Due to safety concerns and the business nature of the trade show, NAMTA does not allow children under the age of sixteen (16), including infants, in the exhibit hall. Children under the age of sixteen (16) will not be permitted to remain unattended in the NAMTA registration area.

  • Suitcasing/Selling - Any activity designed to solicit or sell products or services by any non-exhibiting suppliers to Creativation® by NAMTA attendees is strictly prohibited. Namta reserves the right to escort any participant violating this rule, revoke their badge and expel them from Creativation® by NAMTA without a refund at its sole discretion. (No physical product can be sold at the show.)

  • Wearing Badges - All Creativation® by NAMTA participants must have and visibly wear their issued badge at all times to enter any official Namta venue, exhibit area, conference or authorized events. Badges are the property of NAMTA and may not be resold, transferred to, or shared with other individuals. Badges may be revoked by Namta for violations of this Code of Conduct.

  • Non-employee Badges - All retailer/buyers or distributor/buyers must be an owner or employee of that business. If a badge is required for a non-employee, please contact NAMTA at [email protected].

  • Non-member Badges - Exhibitors and Attendees cannot use their membership to register non-member Retailers. Contact NAMTA at [email protected] with questions.

  • Taking Photos/Videos - Photographs and videos will be taken by the NAMTA staff and professional videographers throughout Creativation® by NAMTA to capture and record the feel and atmosphere of the camaraderie, learning and networking that takes place. These photographs and videos may be used in a myriad of ways to promote this and future events along with providing educational value.
    Additionally - 
    Creative Professional Photography/Video Policy - Creative Professionals will be allowed on the floor during set up and show days. We understand while many exhibitors appreciate their presence, we also respect that other exhibitors do not want any videos or photography of their booths and/or products taken on set up days and/or show days. Exhibitors will be asked to complete a form indicating their preferences. This information will be provided to all Creative Professionals and available at registration. All Creative Professionals are to adhere to the exhibitors’ preferences.

    • Exhibitors are prohibited from taking photographs/videos of any booth other than their own.
    • Attendees may take photographs/videos in classes or on the trade show floor only with the permission of the instructor or exhibitor. This includes images taken with digital and analog cameras, cell phones and other video equipment.
    • Press badges may be given to members of the media who are authorized to photograph and video.

  • Photography Release - By attending the conference and trade show events you may be incidentally included in group or crowd shots that might be used later for general publicity or educational purposes. If you do not want any photographs or videos of you used in any way, please let the photographer/videographer or a member of the Namta staff know this before, during, or after attending any of the events.

  • Rolling Bags - One rolling backpack not to exceed 20 inches in height or one briefcase not too exceed 17 inches in width. Only one rolling backpack or briefcase per person. No suitcases, wagons, or strollers on the show floor at any time.

  • Bags - All Creativation® by NAMTA participants acknowledge all bags are subject to search and screening.
  • Code of Conduct - All Creativation® by NAMTA participants are expected to conduct him/herself in a professional and courteous manner. Namta is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference and trade show experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, or religion (or lack thereof). Namta does not tolerate harassment of Creativation® by NAMTA participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any Creativation by Namta venue including classes, trade show floor, social events, and social media. Participants asked to stop any behavior in violation of this code are expected to comply immediately. This code provides general guidelines and cannot cover every possible type of unacceptable behavior. NAMTA reserves the right to apply corrective action to instances other than the specific examples noted. Creativation® by NAMTA participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the event and any and all future events without a refund at the discretion of NAMTA. NAMTA reserves the right to take any action that is reasonably necessary for the protection of the Association and its participants, including but not limited to exhibitors and/or attendee.

  • No Weapons Rule - Firearms, weapons, including weapon replicas, ammunition, dangerous or hazardous devices or substances and illegal items are prohibited at Creativation® by NAMTA and in all NAMTA venues.

  • COVID Policy: For the ultimate safety of all attendees, all attendees of Creativation® by NAMTA are required to follow all COVID policies that may be established by Show Management.
