Paper has been, and continues to be a vital tool for artists. Join Pierre Guidetti as he discusses the ways in which paper has changed the world of art. Paper is a unifying mechanism used by Students and teachers alike.

Whether you are a painter, a sculptor, an illustrator, a printmaker, a photographer, a historian or anyone else, paper has been a part of your experience. What defines western paper? When, why and where did western paper come to be? What are the different manufacturing methods and why are they important to the final product? What does the future of paper hold for us as artists?
