Position Title:  Demonstration Artist

Position Location:   Washington DC area, and Montreal, Canada (Bi-lingual French/English in Canada)

Position Description:
The prospective candidate should be knowledgeable, enthusiastic, passionate, and energetic, and should have teaching experience, preferably on the college level. The ideal candidate is a painter who is knowledgeable in oil, acrylic and watercolour media. We also require that the candidate holds an MFA in fine art. We will train him/her with all of the necessary technical information. In addition to a per demonstration compensation, we provide a yearly stipend for art materials. The Winsor & Newton and Liquitex Fine Art Collective education program consists of a select team of skilled artists, most of whom are college professors, who visit colleges and retail art stores to offer dynamic, entertaining, and highly informative programs about using artists’ materials to their very best advantage. Currently we have part-time, contract-based positions available in the region of Washington DC and Montreal, Canada (French and English speaking in Canada) Our artists present two hour demonstrations about the proper use of art materials at universities and retail locations. This is not a sales program, but rather one that aims to educate and inform artists about materials and topics that will help in their own work, as well as be inspiring and exciting.

Position Title: Associate Product Manager

Job Overview: ArtSnacks is seeking a passionate, sales-oriented, and self-motivated professional to join our remote team on a contract basis. This position is responsible for managing our quarterly subscription boxes. Each quarter, you’ll establish themes and products for boxes, lead sales/marketing efforts, and systematize the subscription lifecycle – from concept to completion. Working with the creative team, you’ll assist in building highly compelling marketing campaigns that drive subscriptions and customer retention for each quarterly subscription.

What you'll do:
  • Take the lead on executing the quarterly subscription production process, while working on a budget within deadlines
  • Work closely with the founders in all stages of the curation and buying process
  • Responsible for achieving growth targets on a quarterly basis, while uncovering insights and identifying the levers of customer acquisition and retention behavior
  • Manage content distribution through multiple social media channels
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of the customer profile for each quarterly subscription in order to better support decision making on themes, product assortments, and customer experience
  • Work with the team on product strategy, co-marketing and growth strategies, and filtering through feedback and data from customersIdentify relevant market and industry trends to inform planning and decision making

Who we’re looking for:
  • 2-3 years experience in marketing and product management, specifically in web/retail consumer product businesses
  • Ability to think analytically and offer fact-based strategic insights
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment 
  • A self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and a "no task is too small" attitude
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Superior communication skillsObsessed with all things art and art supplies

Bonus Points:

  • Online and in-person customer service experience
  • Experience in managing branded social media channels

Role Description: The Brand Experience Manager envisions and delivers integrated brand experiences that delight brand users across their artistic journey, and measures the effectiveness of marketing investments in driving revenue and profit goals. The Brand Experience Manager reports to the Director of Marketing, manages 1 or more direct reports, and works collaboratively across departments to lead the development of product innovations and renovations, communications and promotion experiences, and certain aspects of the shopping experience. Job Duties • Lead competitive and consumer research strategies and projects • Develop long term brand visions and campaign creative briefs, working with in-house creative team or external agencies. • Oversee development of 3 year new product pipelines • Develop integrated annual brand plans, including products, communications, and promotions • Develop selling materials and other retail marketing programs • Manage portions of the marketing budget • Develop key performance indicators and periodic reports

Education Required: Master’s in Art, Business, or Education

Experience Desired: 7+ years in brand management or related role
